We would like to express our sincere gratitude for everyone’s support of Buffalo WellFest 2009. In particular we thank the over 70 WNY employers who purchased admission for their employees and family members to learn more about Healthy Living so they can enjoy healthier happier and more productive lifestyles. The participation of over 120 Exhibitors continues to make Buffalo WellFest WNY’s largest and most comprehensive Healthy Living Exposition. Special thanks goes out to our outstanding Sponsors; Catholic Health, Kaleida Health, Roche Diagnostics, Wegmans, Vein Treatment Center, ECMC, Lifetime Health Medical Group, BlueCross BlueShield of WNY and Alliance Advisory Group. We also give special thanks to ECMC, Catholic Health, and Kaleida Health for providing complementary Health screenings for our attendees. Lastly, we appreciate the efforts of our Seminar and Demonstration presenters delivering valuable information and experiences. Our Harmony Angels staff and the interns from the UB School of Public Health and Health Professions did another outstanding job taking care of the needs of our exhibitors and attendees.

Buffalo WellFest 2009 marked several changes in our format including a move to the Statler Towers, expanding to two days, broadening our reach to employers throughout WNY, family admission, adding a Food Court and Ask the Expert Seminars and Health Matters marketing opportunities. The YMCA provided a fabulous interactive Kid Zone for family entertainment. For the first time we produced a radio campaign that delivered over 400 spots and mentions on Regent Broadcastings flagship stations WJYE, WYRK, JackFM and WBLK in the weeks leading up to the event culminating with a live broadcast by Alexis Williams from WJYE on Friday. Over 34,000 tickets were distributed to employers from throughout WNY with overall attendance of nearly 3,000.

We hope everyone achieved their individual goals in bringing Healthy Living practices, ideas and implementation to WNY employers, their employees and family members.
